If Pongathon was a mythological creature it would be a Hydra...

If Pongathon was a mythological creature it would be a Hydra, a large multi-headed ping pong playing beast creating carnage and destruction to all before it! And such was the ping pong pandemonium last Tuesday you’d think everyone had woken up in the morning and decided to play their last game of ping pong before the of world!

The Pongathon City Challenge Groups was fiercely contested as teams battled it out to reach the Finals on May 15th and win over the bragging rights for their company’s honour! Emerging as victorious all conquering heroes were ‘Lets Get It Pong’, ‘Karmerama Silver’, ‘Topspin Traders’ and ‘London Ping Pongers’.

Go check out www.pongathoncitychallenge.com to read what they think of their chances!

Pongathon also welcomed Innovision who played a 40 person tournament, attempted to put as many people around the table as possible (feel a world record attempt coming on here!) and created enough ping pong energy to light up a small town! Huge big-ups to War Child too who were absolutely bang up for all manner of ping pong shenanigans and looked pretty fab in their retro 70’s sportswear! Add to that loads of competitions and a marathon Pongbot Challenge and it just about sums up the night...epic!

Congrats to Shaun Hall who reached an absolutely splendid score of 46 in 60 seconds against the Pongbot and will be entered into The Pongbot Champions Play-Offs this summer! Phew! See you all on May 15th!!
